GPS Turn-by-Turn, Built for Snow Plow Routes

In-cab, hands-free directions that guide operators through every driveway on the route, in the order you planned, without a single printed sheet.

Printed route sheets don't survive a snowstorm

When visibility drops and a new operator is behind the wheel, paper routes and memory-based dispatching break down fast. Driveways get skipped, trucks double back, and the dispatcher's phone lights up with client calls. One missed stop is a lost renewal.

How it works

  1. Your route, loaded automatically

Every truck starts its shift with the route already in the tablet. No syncing, no paperwork, no morning briefing to print.

  2. Hands-free, stop-by-stop directions

A large, high-contrast map shows the next driveway with clear voice and visual cues. Operators keep their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road.

  3. Every completed stop is logged

When a driveway is cleared, the operator taps once and the tablet moves to the next stop. The dispatcher sees the progress live.

Why operators love it

Zero missed driveways

The tablet will not skip a stop, even on a 400-driveway route in a whiteout.

Faster onboarding

New drivers complete a full route on day one, without needing to learn the neighbourhood first.

No paper, no chaos

Route changes push to the tablet instantly. The dispatcher never re-prints, the operator never re-reads.

Works when the signal drops

The route is cached on the device, so a weak data signal does not pause the shift.

A real scenario from the field

Picture a residential route of 420 driveways spread across three adjacent neighbourhoods in Laval. The regular driver is off sick, and the replacement has never touched this route before. In the old world, the dispatcher would spend 20 minutes on the phone walking the driver through the first 50 stops. With Follosoft, the replacement opens the tablet, presses start, and follows the chevron. Two hours later, every driveway is cleared, the dispatcher has taken zero callback calls, and the backup driver is ready to cover again tomorrow.

GPS turn-by-turn, answered

Does it work without a data signal?

Yes. Routes are cached on the tablet at the start of the shift, so a dropped signal does not interrupt navigation. Completed stops sync back as soon as the connection returns.

Can the dispatcher change the route mid-shift?

Yes. Any edit the dispatcher makes (a new urgent stop, a skipped client, a re-ordered block) pushes to the operator's tablet within seconds.

How does it know a driveway has been plowed?

The operator taps a single button on the tablet to confirm the stop is complete. Optional photo capture is available for proof of service.

Does it replace our current GPS app?

Yes, for route execution. Follosoft's in-cab tablet is a full turn-by-turn navigator, optimized for residential plowing rather than highway driving, so you do not need a second app.

What tablet does it run on?

Follosoft ships ruggedized Android tablets sized for the cab, with mounts and power cabling included. Your fleet, your branding, ready to go.
